The FSB BEA scholarship comprises two categories: the undergraduate category for secondary school graduates and the postgraduate category for university graduates. Each category has specific eligibility criteria to ensure the selection of candidates who showcase academic excellence and dedication.

Undergraduate candidates are required to hold a minimum qualification of Seven (7) Distinctions (As & Bs) in the Senior Secondary School Certificates, WASSCE/WAEC (May/June) in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. Postgraduate applicants need to possess a First Degree with a 1st Class or at least 2nd Class Upper Division. For master’s applicants, completion of the N.Y.S.C. Programme is mandatory, with an age limit of 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D. candidates.

Application Process

The application process for this esteemed scholarship is meticulous, ensuring the selection of the most deserving candidates. Applicants are required to complete an online application form, adhering strictly to the specified requirements and deadlines.

Upon nomination by the Board, candidates will need to submit authenticated copies of academic certificates, their international passport's data page, specified medical reports from government hospitals, birth certificates, indigene letters, and where necessary, a police clearance certificate.
